Pathways to Purity

“Your purity that you keep inside of you (who you’ll be) will dictate the projection of God on the outside of you (what others see).”

Our world seems to be on the decline in many ways; but what does this mean for the one who believes in Jesus Christ? In Matthew 5:8, Jesus said blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Like you I want to see God, but this has everything to do with our purity. I want to challenge you to protect your insides. Our outsides will be dirty because you and I are walking through a swamp in the valleys and shadows of death; but you and I can rejoice due to the fact our point of view or our projection can see God in it. It comes down to the heart of the matter.
“And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.” Jeremiah 24:7

Here are just a few ways both you and I can BE PURE IN HEART.
Pathways to purity include:
A. Faith: Living full throttle for God
“And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.” Acts 15:8-9
B. Reading: Thirsting after the masterplan found in scripture
“Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” John 15:3
C. Prayer: Talking to God
“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10
D. Commitment: Places barriers around you
“I made a covenant with my eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?” Job 31:1
E. Judgment: Think about your last breathe on this earth and the rewards that await you
“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.” I John 3:2-3
These are the tools that I use,; if you have others, I would love to hear them. Fill out the comment box below and share what works for you.

Stay bold, strong and pure!
