TALKING TO GOD WITH HIS WORDS.
For years, I have believed in quoting the words of God back to God. My suffering is found in praise and talking with my Savior. In 2010, at Liberty University, I was part of the project called the Journey Prayer Bible; I was responsible for looking at about 30 books of the Bible and assigning the type of prayer to the scripture.
These prayers helped me talk with God better. When we use the prayers from God’s word humbly and engagingly, we become encouraged to open our hearts and lives through deeper faith, renewed strength, and usability to God’s power with tremendous blessing.
God invites us to a close walk with him by using prayers from the Bible. The Holy Spirit will always help us in our weaknesses (Romans 8:26). As you pray, incorporate God’s words into your heart so that you will communicate with Him from your heart. The Holy Spirit breathes new life and new thinking, which will result in new communications.
